The judging has been intense. After hours of reading, laughing, crying and deliberation we’re super excited to announce the shortlisted finalists for this year’s Bupa Blog Awards!

Our finalists will be invited to join Bupa’s exclusive Influencer Program, with free webinars, workshops and insights from those who have successfully navigated the influencer space. They’ll also receive opportunities to work with us on campaigns throughout the year.

To help grow their influencer platform to improve the health and happiness of their online community - winners from each category (including People’s Choice) will receive $1,000. Our People’s Choice winner will take away $2,000 and $3,000 cash goes to our overall winner.

John has recently taken on the role of Director, Brand and Health & Care Strategy. Prior to this, he was part of the Strategy team at Bupa since 2012. John takes a special interest in behavioural science and consumer psychology, and has worked across a range of areas, including value proposition development, customer experience, brand development, strategic planning, and communication channel effectiveness. John holds a Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Business Marketing with first class honours.

Being a finalist in the 2016 Bupa Blog Awards has had a lasting positive impact on my blog.  I have taken part in so much training off the back of it and learnt many new skills such as food styling, SEO, Facebook advertising and video.  But the best part: meeting all the other finalists and finding a supportive tribe that works to help you grow your blog and that has an undercurrent of comradery. It has been a wonderful experience for me and I have achieved so many of my goals since being part of the program and been involved in lots of fantastic workshops and events.
